LLA Philosophy

Studies show that teachers surveyed in the US agree that children who participate in early childhood education have a distinct advantage throughout their academic career. Here at Learning Links Academy, our mission is fueled by the passion to provide your child with this advantage.

Learning Links Academy's pre-school, childcare, and after-school prgrams focus on developing communications shills, thinking skills, social/emotional skills, and physical skills. The outcome is one of children enjoying the self confidence and problem solving needed for learning success in a safe, supportive, nurturing, and encouraging environment.

Programs & Curriculum

In our toddler program, we expand on infant skills learned in the household and provide a safe and happy environment for toddlers to become more independent. Problem solving, concept formation, cooperation and self-help skills are also introduced in the program.

Our preschool program embraces the joy of learning and uses research-based principles for instruction. In addition to providing comprehensive, integrated instruction in a multitude of developmental domains, we provide a systematic and sequential continuum for building skills and concepts. Your child receives a fun daily routine that develops social skills and interactions that build a solid foundation for meeting future academic challenges.

LLA's pre-k program serves as a precursor to private or public school. This program offers a balance of fun, creative, hands-on activities as well as more traditional, measurable venues of learning. Applying curriculum such as the GreatStart Readiness or HighScope programs allows us to prepare your child for a successful future.

Before & After School

Our before and after school programs are both fun and educational. With opportunities for your child to work on their homework, enrichment classes such as computer/gym/art/music, a large outdoor play space, time to socialize with friends and play board games, in addition to transportation to and from school and home upon request, we seek to play a nurturing and supportive role to your child and parental needs.

The Learning Group

The Learning Group promotes the development of strong, healthy families by addressing their physical, emotional, social and cultural needs. From parenting classes, to resources on how to pay for childcare or even helping military families, the Learning Group embodies the "takes a village" principles in helping families prepare children from success.
